    About

I write music for stories where something important is at stake: scale, tension, wonder and consequence. My strongest fit is action, fantasy, horror, science fiction, thriller and drama where the emotional stakes are real. The goal is not simply to make the music sound large. It is to make the audience feel that something important is happening.

I came to film scoring by a long road: bands and performance, professional recording engineering including full-orchestra sessions, and software design and technical project leadership. I am now completing a Film Scoring degree at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and I scored my first feature before formal study began.

I work in Dorico, Cubase and Pro Tools, prepare mock-ups, scores, parts and session materials, and conduct and produce live-player sessions alongside virtual instruments. I play guitar, keyboards and bass.
